Adding some flavor to the MAGURO itself is also recommended.
This recipe uses MAGURO that is marinated in Soy Sauce, and this is also a common way of preparing Sushi which is called “ZUKE”.
- MAGURO (Marinated in Soy Sauce and Sesame Seeds)
- IKURA (Salmon Roe)
- Soy Sauce
- Sesame Seeds
- Sushi Rice (White rice with rice vinegar)
You can also add some Sesame Oil when marinating the MAGURO, it will taste more like “poke” from Hawai’i!
